Sync custom fields with other plugins or CRM
It is a pain having to maintain three different user lists: WP Users, Wysija Subscribers, and a CRM. I can ignore the WP list, but I need a CRM to track phone numbers, birthdays, etc. Any chance you could add the option for us to add "Custom Fields"? That would eliminate the need for a CRM. A bonus would be different field types: text, drop-down, date, check-box, etc.

It would be great if the custom fields also integrated with the Gravity Forms plugin (there's another feature request here for that). GF can easily export to CSV, which can then be uploaded to virtually any CRM. They already have a Highrise integration add-on too, which might work for those using that CRM.

Yes, PLEASE add custom fields. I need to track location as I offer different services based on it.

Maybe March or April for custom fields.
As for synching your data with a CRM, we'll also need to make an add-on for it, this is why we are asking.

Wow, so you are going to add this as a feature? That sounds great! Any idea when? Need a beta-tester?
I did use WP-CRM but removed it. I hate maintaining multiple data sets (I am a Data Analyst). Now I keep track of my clients in a separate spreadsheet.

This is how it will work:
1. When you import your list, you can add fields
2. When you create a subscription form, you only include the fields you want.
3. When you sync (with an eventual add-on), you pick the fields you want to synch.Which CRM do you use?

Ok, I just saw the "Add admin defined fields to the sign up form" idea. My idea is similar, but would be populated by me, the admin, verses the user. Maybe adding the option for the users to add the additional information when updating their profiles would be a way to combine the two ideas.
